The short stories in the first half of the book, some of which have Greece as a locale, have a theme of reincarnation and "past lives". Or, are they really flights of fantasy and imagination? These impressions lead to discovery and resolution. The reader experiences the essence of the current locations as well as sensing these places as they once were in ancient times. The second half of the book is a collection of very brief pieces, compressed and distilled to highlight a specific character, character type, or significant event. These "one-page tales" offer the reader the quality of very focused story telling.
